The Quality Assurance Framework oversees the quality assurance of academic programs offered at publicly assisted universities in Ontario, and is supported by the Guide to the Quality Assurance Framework.

The Framework was developed by a special task force, which worked closely over a two-year period with the Vice-Presidents Academic, and was then approved by the Executive Heads of Ontario universities.

The Quality Assurance Framework was last updated in February 2019. The Guide is updated as new resources become available.

Various templates are also available for download to be adapted by universities for use in the internal quality assurance activities.
