Pain Care, GDip (Type 3)

The GDipPC is an 8-month, part time, blended online interdisciplinary course-based program (i.e. online courses and 1-week onsite residency) structured to prepare candidates for careers/career advancement in the area of pain care through the development of:

• An enhanced appreciation of the burden of pain on the individual and society,
• An advanced understanding of the pathophysiology of pain,
• The ability to apply the biopsychosocial model to the assessment and treatment of pain,
• The ability to engage in program evaluation and to assume leadership roles in supporting best practices in pain care.

The GDipPC is a professional program designed to provide individuals with in-depth theoretical and clinical knowledge that will enhance their ability to provide and facilitate quality care to individuals with pain.
