The Honours Bachelor of Arts in Humanities with Leadership Foundations combines courses from three traditional arts subjects: Philosophy, English and History, with courses from Leadership to create a multi-disciplinary program. The program, while open to traditional high school graduates, has been designed to appeal primarily to graduates of applied and technical diploma programs at community colleges who wish to supplement their college training with an interesting and useful degree that prepares them for leadership roles in a wide variety of professions. The degree is designed to ensure that broad foundational humanities content is integrated and applied by means of a required introductory seminar, as well as a project-centred capstone course where students investigate an enduring question or contemporary problem from a multiplicity of disciplinary perspectives, and articulate the skills and knowledge they have gained from the various courses they have taken throughout the degree that help them in their investigation.
