The Professional Master’s Diploma (PM Diploma) in Canadian Business is intended to prepare graduates to be successful in Master of Business Administration Programs in Canada and in the Canadian workplace. Internationally educated students can be disadvantaged due to unfamiliarity with North American MBA classroom norms of experiential learning and may be challenged in performing analysis that requires familiarity with Canadian business history and Canadian industry. This program addresses the knowledge gaps in preparing for understanding issues associated with Canada and Canadian business culture, important sectors, and historical development in the workplace. The diploma program will provide students with knowledge of the Canadian business environment and history, and the skills necessary to succeed by emphasizing active, experiential learning as well as specific written and oral communication skills.
