The Master of Applied Computing (MAC) program is designed to combine theory and practice in order to provide students with an advanced degree and skill set that is relevant to today’s computing professional. A flexible program structure allows students to choose a degree pathway that suits their future education or employment needs. The full-time MAC program can be completed via Thesis or Co-operative Education option in five terms or 20 months. The program will also be offered in a part-time, course-based stream. Courses in the program focus on current topics such as mobile computing, data mining, enterprise computing and machine learning, and combine advanced theoretical knowledge with practical, transferable skills. An emphasis on the integration between theory and practice, application to the business world, and soft skill development make the Master of Applied Computing program a unique offering within the province of Ontario.
