Master of Supply Chain Management, MSCM

The Master of Supply Chain Management (MSCM) is a specialized course-based program designed by the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics to equip students with knowledge and strategic competencies in supply chain management. The MSCM’s core objectives are to develop strategic and analytical capabilities, with a focus on sustainable and resilient supply chain operations that align with modern business and global supply chain demands. Through a curriculum informed by The Competencies of Canadian Supply Chain Professionals©, the program’s learning outcomes span competencies like business acumen, leadership, and systems thinking. It further allows students to develop skills, such as data analytics, strategic planning, and systems design, and to improve functional proficiencies in areas including operations planning, procurement strategy, risk mitigation, and supply chain digitization. The program concludes with a capstone course where students collaborate in cross-functional teams on an integrative supply chain management simulation to make strategic decisions that apply knowledge and skills gained throughout the program.
