The BA in Accounting and Economics is for students who are interested in studying economics and pursuing a CPA designation. The Program will provide students with an extensive knowledge and understanding of accounting concepts and applications, and will cover all accounting courses required for entry into the CPA’s professional education program. The Program provides students with the economic background to enable them to understand financial markets and the macroeconomic business environment. Students will not only be prepared for a career as an accountant, they will have a foundation in economic theory and in economic data analytics.
