Master of Health Administration, MHA (English version of the program only).

Health care providers, who are educated to practice in their field, transition to administrative positions at times without the requisite foundation of knowledge in health administration.   A Master of Health Administration program has been developed at Laurentian University which aims to deliver a comprehensive curriculum fully online and related to health care in Canada, but also takes aim at specific, essential features of our health care system related to rural and northern communities.  Fundamental content related to Indigenous health administration is embedded in all the courses and students must complete a certificate in Indigenous Cultural Safety as a requirement for graduation.  The curriculum combines both theoretical and descriptive content with real-world experiences.  By the end of this program, graduates will be skilled and adept in management and will be competent leaders in health care organizations.
