Bioenvironmental Monitoring and Assessment, MSc
The Master of Science in Bioenvironmental Monitoring and Assessment degree is a thesis-based program that provides graduate-level training in the field of environmental monitoring and assessment with a focus on biological systems. Through state-of-the-art technologies, students will determine innovative methods of addressing challenges in the monitoring and assessment of biological systems. The primary thematic foci for this graduate program include habitat quality assessment; population trend and viability analysis; biological change and species adaptation monitoring; biological informatics applications; gene expression and bioinformatics; ecological time series analysis; ecosystem services and sustainable yields evaluation; and biomarker development. Distinct features of the program include the analysis of existing or synthetic datasets, development of professional and technical skills, and the completion of a placement.
