The Graduate Diploma in Legal Services Management is the only program offered by any law school in Canada that provides lawyers and law students with the business skills they will need to thrive in today’s rapidly changing legal marketplace. Legal practice is, after all, a business, and no lawyer, no matter how brilliant or passionate, can effectively provide legal services over the long term without a viable business model and efficient management systems. This unique online program takes lawyers from theory to practice with five courses that cover financial literacy, business fundamentals, technology and the future of legal services, team leadership, and project management.

Offered entirely online, the Graduate Diploma features two core courses plus two of three electives. Created in consultation with premier law firms, teaching and learning experts, and some of Canada’s leading law and business professors, this program prepares lawyers and law students to make the most of the opportunities that lie ahead as the delivery of legal services continues to undergo fundamental change.
