Bioenvironmental Monitoring and Assessment, GDip (Type 3)
The Graduate Diploma in Bioenvironmental Monitoring and Assessment (GDip BMA) program is an 8-month (2 semester) course-based professional graduate diploma program that integrates biological monitoring and assessment concepts and issues within an environmental context, designed to prepare students for the environmental workforce upon graduation. The curriculum of the BMA program will provide foundational and practical knowledge, including foundational understanding of the principles, technical aspects and human dimensions of bioenvironmental monitoring and assessment. Bioenvironmental science can be defined as “the systematic study of the interactions between biological systems and the environment using innovative applied research tools and fundamental research”. Students will complete six online half-credit courses (total of 3.0 credits). The coursework for this program can be completed entirely online in the Fall and Winter semesters.
