Aging and Health, GDip (Type 2) and GDip (Type 3)

The GDipAH is an 8 month, full time, blended online interdisciplinary course-based program (i.e. onsite residency and online components) structured to prepare candidates for careers/career advancement in the area of aging and health through the development of:

  • a comprehensive knowledge of society and normal healthy aging
  • the ability to critically analyze research findings in the field, and
  • the ability to conduct in-depth analyses of ethical dilemmas experienced by older adults and those who care for older clients in society.

It is a professional program designed to provide core competencies and develop attributes recognized by professional bodies that consider issues of aging and heath as core. Completion of the GDipAH provides advanced standing in the MSc(AH) program.
