Electronic Business / Affaires électroniques, PhD
The objective of this program is to provide public and private enterprises, consulting organizations, academic institutions, and research centres with intellectual capital of high calibre in the domain of electronic business technologies. To that end, the graduates of this PhD program will:
- acquire state-of-the-art knowledge in a substantive area of e-Business, or e-Technologies or e-Society, and be aware of its contributions and limitations;
- demonstrate research methodological skills, including the capability to assess the limits of their contributions;
- be able to conduct research at an advanced level and independently;
- be research leaders in their domain as well as developers of innovative ideas, both in theory and in practice;
- evaluate social and/or ethical, and/or economic impacts of e-Technology and e-Business innovations;
- become proficient in the production of original scholarly publications and in the communication of complex ideas and conclusions.
