Learning Outcomes Assessment, Practically Speaking (2013)
April 22, 2013 – April 23, 2013
Building on the foundation of the 2012 Symposium and the feedback received from its participants, a second event, Learning Outcomes Assessment, Practically Speaking, was organized by the:
- Council of Ontario Universities
- Ontario College Quality Assurance Service
- Ontario Council on Articulation and Transfer
- Ontario Universities Council on Quality Assurance
More than 360 college and university faculty, deans, and senior administrators and others involved in assessment of learning outcomes from Ontario and other jurisdictions participated in the successful two-day event in Toronto. Most sessions were structured as interactive workshops delivered by faculty and others directly involved in learning outcomes assessment. There were also some plenary sessions that featured Ontario, Australian and U.S. leaders in learning outcomes assessment.
